Workshop (1) - Ashto-Thai Yoga

Modern Yoga is an evolution of yoga during the time of Patanjali, as much as Thai Yoga has evolved since Dr. Kumar Bhaccha developed it.

What has not changed all these years is the core message of awareness, giving, and connecting with something larger than ourselves.

Ashtanga Yoga as discussed by Patanjali and shared through Vamana Rishi has deep connection to the message that the Buddha was sharing in his conversation with Dr. Kumar Bhaccha, his personal physician. It is through these insights that Dr. Kumar Bhaccha designed a yoga practice that would change the course of healing in Asia.

Join Master Gabriel Azoulay as he paints a time line through Ashtanga based philosophy and postures, connecting students with each other through the power of Thai Yoga and concluding with the Buddha's first teaching.

In this class we will practice Asanas, as well as partner poses. No partner is needed. No experience in yoga is required - only an open mind and an open heart.

Discussion and Q&A sessions will be included.

Workshop (2) - Bikyasa Yoga

There is a way between voice and silence
where information flows.

In silent meditation that way opens,
In hurried talk that way
Closes.

- Rumi

Bikyasa Yoga bridges between voice and silence, between modern music and vocal silence. Inspired by the Ashtanga-Vinyasa and the Bikram methods, Bikyasa is a modern evolution for all practitioners to discover the power of regular practice. Soaked In copious sweat, Bikyasa will challenge and motivate you to strive beyond your limitation.

Combining a choreographed flow sequences, Vinyasa transition on breath connected movements and stationary postures, Bikyasa Yoga demonstrates deep rooted intelligence that governs the order and choice of posture combination, verbal instruction and music selection.

It is a modern style of yoga that is sure to spark your beat, help you uncover your own shells, and empower you to flow with like minded people.
